Merry Christmas – Joyeux Noel

I pre-wrote this message last week because I knew that right now I would be spending my holiday season vacationing.

But it was important for me to send it out today because I didn’t want to miss wishing you “un Joyeux Noel” (A Merry Christmas) to you and your loved ones. I wish you a wonderful and prosperous 2010.
In January I’ll return rested and ready to debut my new coaching program. I can’t tell you much about it right now because:a. I’ve been thinking and planning it so much that I want to enjoy a vacation not thinking at all and b. I would probably just go on and on about it because it’s something new that I’m excited to bring you. I’m very excited and you’ll be hearing more soon.

I don’t know how is the weather where you live, but here in Miami it is a wonderful 80 degrees every day. I appreciate the warmth even more when I watch everyday “Good Morning America” with people with their coats, hats, gloves, scarves and when my clients and friends tell me what the temperature is where they are. Burr! I know how lucky I am after two years in Miami. Before that I was freezing in New York and Paris winters!

How to Make Tons of Money as an Affiliate?

What if you could make extra $$$$$ every month without lifting a finger? Wouldn’t you love that!


Well, you can. Once you have a website established or have developed your list, employ this fail-proof, no work income stream. You just promote your affiliate’s products or services and let the money roll in.

Let’ say that you are starting your own business and don’t have your product yet, but you have a list of contacts. You can select entrepreneurs with the same or similar target market as you to promote their products that are complimentary to your future products. Your end result: making extra money and building your list.

What is an affiliate program?

Entrepreneur A can further promote his business by offering you a commission in exchange for you advertising his or her product. Entrepreneur B wants to make extra money. Entrepreneur B will promote the product on his list, website, and blog and each time he will get a client buy entrepreneur A’s product, he will get a commission.

You won’t believe how easy it is. You’re Entrepreneur B; and you may worry that you’ll have to write a ton of copy, learn everything about someone else’s product and pay to promote. Well, that’s just not true. Entrepreneur A will do all the work; provide the promotional tools, copy, emails, banners etc. You’re only work will be to copy and paste and send the info off into your network, spread the word and wait for an email saying “You just made a sale.”

Since computers can track anything, you are assigned an affiliate number which tracks which clients are yours. This ensures that you’ll know the moment you make a sale and that you’ll have a nice check coming to you regularly.

It really is that easy and simple.

I employ this technique all the time, and every month it increases my positive cash flow. For example, one of my coaches started his online business few years ago. He didn’t have his own products yet, but he earned $800,000 his first year just as an affiliate for hundreds of other people’s products.

Your newsletter will give you the opportunity to announce new products, contests and specials to your readers so that you can boost your sales. Your newsletter will also give you a chance to reactivate some of your former clients.

Always inform your contacts of what is new in your business and provide them with valuable information, if you want to keep them as your readers.
Your newsletter is the best way for your readers (which by the way are your target market) to get to know you and trust you. While your build your database, your newsletter will turn your leads into prospects and your prospects into clients.

 

 

 

2/ Write Articles – Regularly write articles about your field and publish them on your website, your newsletter and submit them to ezine directories and magazines. This will build-up your image as an expert and your credibility. And then more people will buy your services or products.

3/ Write a book or an ebook – If you are comfortable with writing you can write your own book. But if you don’t want to spend months writing a book, or think that you don’t have enough to say, start with writing articles, then make a compilation of them and turn them into an ebook.

Creating an ebook is totally free, you just have to convert your word document into a PDF document. It takes only a few seconds. (You can download free PDF software online).

For example, what are the top 10 ways you can help people in your own field? You can create a document of a couple of pages to a 100 pages. Become a problem solver to your prospects and clients, they will thank you for your help and buy your ebook to find the solution.

You can use various bridge lines – I personally use www.freeconference.com – it is free and very easy to use.If you are not totally confident in becoming a speaker and hosting your teleclass, you can actually interview an expert. He or she will do most of the talking but you can still take credit since you are the one who is bringing the resources to your audience.

5/ Create a product – You have your book or ebook! So you just created one product.

6/ Start public speaking – Spread the word by offering your expertise at live events, associations, networking and conferences. Select organizations who have the same target as you, so that you become THE expert in your field and build-up your name, your credibility and your database (so once again you get more people to sign-up for your newsletter).
7/ Say again and again that your are an expert and people will follow you.
Come up with a name for yourself, so people will remember you easily. For example:

The Ezine Queen, as Alexandria Brown; The Queen of Call Calling, as Wendy Weiss; The Marketing Mentors, as Adam Urbanski, The Greatest, as Mohammed Ali or The Connection Queen, as myself.

How to Boost Your Business With Testimonials

bureau2Networking is my favorite, low-cost marketing tool. However, a large number of people often find it a challenge to get results and turn prospects into clients, simply by networking.

So here is another very effective marketing tool that requires no skills, can be applied to your business immediately and will help you to gain many new clients.

Simply get testimonials from your current clients!

Testimonials from satisfied customers are typically the best way to promote your business. And it doesn’t cost you a thing. So, stop selling and let your clients and raving fans do it for you.

Contact your best clients, since they already know you, appreciate and value your products and services. Most likely they will be happy to help you and provide you with a testimonial that praises your products and services.

Be sure to obtain their permission before you use their information in your brochure and on your website.

Use their testimonials on your website. This way your clients will make the sales for you. Don’t you think that if people see the results and the benefits your clients reaped from using your products and services, that they too will want the same results for themselves or their businesses?

Don’t use a testimonial like “Mary it was great working with you” John S., NY. This is useless.

Instead use effective testimonials where your clients mention the benefits of working with you. What was their experience and results in their businesses after they bought your product/service or program? Make sure that you mention their name, website, and eventually their email and phone number. Give your prospects the opportunity to see that they are real people like them, who they can contact or just check out their website to see who they are and what they do. They will probably never contact them to ask about the experience they had with you, but they will feel comfortable if they can identify themselves with your current clients.

When it comes to testimonials, I always mention one of my businesses http://www.myfrenchnetwork.com/, my French consulting business, because I don’t even have to promote it. Due to the fact that I am working within a specific niche – French solo-entrepreneurs who want to start their own businesses in the US – and that my website has a very rich content which provides a great deal of free information and has some very powerful testimonials from clients – I have at least 3 to 4 people each week who contact me for a consultation. I don’t have to chase them, they just come to me. And when I ask them why they decided to contact me, they always mention the testimonials. They say, “You did so much for so many people that I imagine you can do the same for me”. And because my clients did the sell for me, after the first consultation, 50% decide to work with me immediately while some others may need to talk further or find out a little more about me and my services.

Have a complete page with all of your testimonials on your brochure or website. Or if you promote a special product or program, insert your testimonials along with the description and benefits of your program.

I work with lots of people who are just starting their businesses, so their question is always, “But I don’t have clients yet. How can I get testimonials?”. Well, offer to trade your services with a couple of people who really need your services but who perhaps cannot afford them, in exchange for a testimonial. That is a good way to start.

So don’t hesitate to contact your best clients now and ask them for a testimonial. Make a list of clients you could contact today, some of your raving fans who enjoyed working with you and for whom your products made a significant impact on their businesses. You will see that they will be more than happy to help you in return for what you did for them.

And while you ask for testimonials, don’t forget to ask for referrals: friends, colleagues or family who would benefit from your products or program also.
Then another way to us your testimonials is to prepare a direct mail campaign that you will send to the list of referrals your clients just gave you.

Don’t you think that when the targets see their friends’ names in your brochure or mailing campaign, they will trust you and be keen to work with you also? You will get a better response to your campaign than advertising in a magazine, where nobody knows you and most readers won’t even notice your ad.
